A note on tomorrow's (Nov. 13th) solar eclipse in Scorpio and Mercury's retrograde motion...

Hello, Friends!

In place of today's horoscope, I'd like to share my interpretation of what tomorrow's solar eclipse in Scorpio means.  The way I see it (and for readers who are especially turned off by the mystical jargon and vagueness surrounding astrological topics, I apologize) is that there is going to be a bit of an internal quake that takes place.  Each of us has a place in the depth of our being that is untouched.  For some, this place will remain closed.  For most, that place will have a thing or two shaken loose.  We should prepare to honor truth, both truths we believe to exist for ourselves and truths that are accepted by humanity as a whole.  A sense of confidence and perhaps a renewed sense of certainty that you're headed down the right path is likely at this time.  Expect secrets to be revealed.  Expect to hear whispers from your subconscious mind.  Expect clarity in your heart.

With that being said, Mercury has been in retrograde for seven days now.  For those who don't remember, that means difficulty communicating, malfunctioning machines and computers, text messages and emails that are never received, car accidents, trouble focusing on the task at hand or an increasingly short attention span, and an increase in mental fogginess are likely during this time.  The retrograde period lasts until the 27th of this month, so be prepared.

For myself, I'm preparing for the Scorpion eclipse by opening my heart and mind for whatever creeps out from the depths of my being.  While some things may be troubling, I expect others to be enlightening, comforting, and inspiring.  I'll have a journal close by for myself and an open ear or shoulder for those who are troubled.  As far as Mercury's retrograde motion is concerned, I'm staying caffeinated, mindful, as clear and careful with my speech as I can be, and am driving defensively.

I hope to have horoscopes for everyone tomorrow.  Take care of yourselves.

Cindy
